Before you ask
One credit processes one memory, a write of up to 400 tokens. A larger event counts proportionally, so a 2,400-token tool result is 6 credits. Reads never spend one.
A note, a decision, or a short observation bills 1. A coding-agent event carrying a diff, a stack trace, or test output usually runs 1,000 to 5,000 tokens, so it bills 3 to 13. A single event tops out at 32,000 tokens; past that it is refused outright rather than silently truncated, so nothing is stored half-remembered.
No. Free takes no card and has no deadline: 2,000 memories on a personal workspace, plus more for finishing the onboarding steps. A card appears only when you subscribe or turn on top-ups, and a first invoice is refundable in full for 14 days. Team workspaces start on a 14-day card-less Pro trial with 10,000 memories.
Writes pause. Nothing is deleted and nothing degrades: search, lineage, context() and verification keep working on everything you already stored, permanently. To start writing again, pick a plan or turn on top-ups at $10 per 1,000.
On Hobby, writes pause: auto-top-up ships off, so you decide what to do next. Top up by hand any time. On Pro and Pro+, auto-top-up buys credit blocks as you run low and never spends past the monthly cap you set, $200 and $500 by default, so writes keep flowing to the cap. Every top-up is an ordinary invoice with tax and a PDF, never a charge you did not choose.
On paid plans, for one month, up to half your plan's base: 5,000 on Hobby, 25,000 on Pro, 65,000 on Pro+. Free memories have nothing to roll over into. They never expire in the first place.
No. Pro and Pro+ take unlimited teammates and unlimited dashboard viewers. We meter the memories your agents write, not the people who read them. Charging per head would tax the exact behaviour that makes a shared graph worth having.
Reads are never billed, and each plan carries a sustained read window: 250 per 6 hours on Free, 3,000 on Hobby, 15,000 on Pro, 40,000 on Pro+. Enterprise windows are set per contract. A free workspace that has not written anything for 90 days steps down to 60 per 6 hours, restored the moment it writes again.
Yes, on every plan including Free. Every memory is signed into a chain with a published head, and causal-verify checks it offline, against our word rather than with it. Verification is the claim the product is built on, so it is never a paid add-on.
Export ships on every paid plan, in an open format you can check offline with causal-verify. Being easy to leave is why we can be trusted with the state in the first place: one month of the entry tier takes everything back out.

Paid: the engine that turns raw agent activity into adjudicated experience (extraction, write-time supersedence, the retrieval stack, taint propagation) plus the hosting. Every surface you need to verify us or leave us is open. The brain is not.

Every top-up rate sits above the next plan's effective rate, so moving up always wins over sustained top-ups.
